Nutty Chocolate Maca Truffles 🤎
Sweets like chocolate truffles satisfy a lot of strong cravings but they also add a lot of sugar and fat. Here’s a quick recipe with healthier ingredients that cut down on both!
Prep Time: 10 minutes ⏲️
Step 1. Put all of the above listed ingredients into the blender and blend them until they’re mixed well. Don’t hesitate to use a high setting!
Step 2. Get 1 tablespoon of the mixture and start rolling it into a small ball, no bigger than your thumb. Repeat until you’ve used up all the mixture and then set the balls aside on the baking sheet.
Step 3. Take an additional ¼ cup of Wholefood Essentials Organic Raw Cacao Powder and sprinkle it over one plate. Do the same with the second plate, but this time with an additional ¼ cup of Wholefood Essentials Organic Maca Powder instead.
Step 4. Take up the balls and roll them first over the plate of cacao powder until each one is evenly coated. Let the coat settle for a minute or two, and then roll the balls over the plate of maca powder next.
Step 5: Once the coating is done, place the balls into the freezer for about 30 minutes or until firm.
